Paul has more than 18 years experience in employment related law. He acts for clients across many industries advising employers on employment law and occupational health and safety matters.
Paul focuses on assisting employers in solving work placement problems, with an emphasis on avoiding disputes and costly litigation.
Paul is an expert on award compliance and the negotiation and making of enterprise agreements.
He also has vast experience advising employers on all aspects of individual employment law, including the preparation of employment contracts and statutory compliance.
Paul is an expert on occupational health and safety compliance and has successfully defended a number of occupational health and safety prosecutions for employers across Australia.
Paul is the author of a number of publications on employment law and occupational health and safety. He regularly conducts training on various aspects of employment related and occupational health and safety issues.
Paul has acted in relation to a number of complex and significant matters that include:
- enforcing post employment restraints and defending claims for breach of contract;
- obtaining orders to prevent industrial action; and
- advising on the human resources aspects of a number of major Australian and multinational transactions.
