Lee Dewhirst

Lee joined our Banking & Finance team in 2010. Prior to joining Thomsons Lawyers, he was a former managing partner of his previous firm and was the partner-in-charge of its corporate advisory department.
 
Lee obtained his law degree from the University of Adelaide and has more than 20 years’ experience in corporate advisory work. He has acted in relation to a number of major banking and finance transactions for banks and corporate borrowers as well as a number of major mergers and acquisitions, fundraising and takeover projects.
 
In addition, he provides advice in relation to debt and equity fundraising and securities, corporate and structured finance and regularly advice relating to companies and investment schemes (Corporations Act, ASX Listing Rules, stamp duties legislation and the Foreign Acquisitions and Takeovers Act).
