Chris has more than 20 years’ experience acting in all aspects of real estate investment and development, and banking and finance. His real estate investment and development experience includes commercial , retail, residential and industrial real estate. He acts for listed companies, private and institutional developers, investors, state government instrumentalities, banks and financial institutions and consultants to the real estate and finance industries.
Chris has acted on numerous high profile hotel and tourism asset acquisitions and disposals. He has assisted clients in applications for and transfers of liquor licences and variations to licence conditions. He has advised clubs and associations on constitution and rules issues, and operational issues including finance facilities, land ownership and leasing matters.
Chris also advises government and private enterprise on probity and procedural fairness issues in competitive government tender processes. He has also acted as a probity auditor in many significant procurement processes.
Chris has presented papers and lead seminars and workshops for the Queensland Law Society on stamp duty and conveyancing issues, and has chaired industry seminars on Green Leasing.
