John Andrews

John is a Special Counsel in our Dispute Resolution team with more than 30 years experience in commercial litigation and alternative dispute resolution, including mediation. In addition to his litigation and dispute resolution skills, John also has broad commercial experience, giving him an in-depth understanding of the commercial implications of the business world.

John is experienced in representing the interests of a diverse range of clients in their business activities, including negotiating transactions and resolving disputes, mediation, litigation and arbitration.

He has advised mining companies, government entities and local authorities, developers, banks and other financial institutions, a wide range of small and large businesses and corporations, environmental interest groups and individuals involved in complex and commercially sensitive litigation. He has advised clients who are in dispute with the Australian Taxation Office and other regulatory bodies such as the Australian Securities and Investment Commission.
