Catherine Chant

Catherine specialises in intellectual property, advertising and technology, with a particular focus on all aspects of brand management, protection and enforcement, and Competition and Consumer Law issues and compliance.

Catherine has previously worked for three commercial law firms, managing their trade mark practices and major components of their contentious and non-contentious intellectual property work. She also has in-house compliance management experience and private practice experience in the US, where she completed an internship.

Catherine is a former Chair of the Licensing Executives Society, New South Wales branch, a member of the East Asia and Pacific sub committee – Non-Traditional Marks Committee of the International Trade Mark Association and a member of IPSANZ.
