Craig Powell

Craig is the preferred dispute resolution specialist for a broad range of market leading clients in the media, health, stockbroking, food and beverage, energy, and hospitality industries. He has particular expertise in disputes involving potential significant financial and reputational loss for his clients.
 
Craig leads our Dispute Resolution team in Sydney.
 
Craig litigates primarily in the Supreme Court and the Federal Court. He has managed a number of Coronial Inquiries and appeals to the NSW Court of Appeal, Federal Court of Appeal, High Court and International Courts of Arbitration.

The hallmark of Craig's litigation practice is his consistent, determined and unwavering focus on client service, commercial strategy and best litigated outcomes. Craig was recognised for his media and defamation work in the Technology, Media &Telecommunications ALB Guide 2009 (Australasian Legal Business, issue 7.7).
 

Craig regularly presents risk management training to the boards of numerous clients and is a member of the Communications and Media Law Association and the Australia and New Zealand Sports Law Association.
