Tom has had more than 20 years experience in the practice of commercial property law. He advises his clients on their property sales and acquisitions. He has advised and acted on a diverse range of commercial property matters, including sales and purchases of city office blocks, shopping centres, rural land and water holdings, industrial properties, medical centres, retirement villages and other aged care facilities. He acts and supervises his highly motivated team on subdivisions of property, from the structuring of the initial strata/stratum document to completion of sales off the plan.
As well as acting on sales and acquisitions, Tom acts on the negotiation of commercial, industrial and retail leases for landlords and tenants, giving him insight into what is truly important to both a landlord and a tenant. In addition, he also provides general advice on property related legal issues which arise from time to time.
Tom is a specialist in property law as accredited by the Law Society of New South Wales.
Tom's clients include public companies and their subsidiaries, hospitals, retirement villages and other health entities, major land holders, users and developers.
Tom also works as part of larger teams in the firm advising on and dealing with the property aspects of major corporate and merger and acquisitions transactions.
