Mark Branagan

Mark is a Partner and the national practice leader of the firm’s Employment & Safety group. Mark has been in practice for more than 20 years, specialising in the area of employment law and workplace relations.

The major focus of Mark’s practice includes:

• solving workplace problems;
• conducting litigation arising out of termination of employment, bullying, discrimination and occupational health and safety matters;
• advising businesses in relation to award obligations, contents of workplace agreements, restructuring of businesses and establishment of new workplace agreements;
• drafting executive contracts;
• on the purchase of businesses and restructuring organizations; and
• advising management on industrial disputes with trade unions, right of entry issues and freedom of association.

Mark regularly presents to clients and industry associations on various topics relating to workplace relations, OH&S and employment law.  He also presents to postgraduate students at Swinburne University.

Mark is an Accredited Specialist (Workplace Relations) with the Law Institute of Victoria.
