Peter Stockdale

Peter joined Thomsons’ Litigation team in 2006. He has more than 20 years' experience in litigation and dispute resolution. His extensive experience includes insurance litigation, insurance fraud, product liability, insolvency,
back-end banking and finance, security enforcement, media and defamation, competition and consumer law and general contract law. Peter has been a Law Institute of Victoria Accredited Specialist in Commercial Litigation since 1996 and has broad experience in all Victorian and Commonwealth court jurisdictions.
 
Peter currently supervises a small litigation team based in our Melbourne office which specialises in advising and representing WorkSafe Victoria and self-insurers in relation to third party indemnity and recovery actions pursuant to the Accident Compensation Act (Victoria) and the Victorian WorkCover scheme.
